i haven't posted a journal for ages sorry#

there is a contest running at the moment (theres a link at the bottem of this journal theme is first year, looking forward to hopefully seeing some more enteries (i'm working on mine)

i'm hoping to run some events in the chatroom
i was thinking:
- live trivia quizzes
- group fan fic writing
- games (like what??)
- art jam
any other ideas would be great (ie please help)

also would like to run some club events not in the chat room (thinking of timezones as well)
we could do:
- collabs on a theme
- mini contests
- art jam
more ideas please??

winning house for house points will be announced on july 18th (subject to change) the day after my school breaks up
this house will have:
- a party in common room run by your head of house and me
- some kind of art work (probably depicting house cup in some way) dedicated to all of you
- news and journal features featuring all members of house (entitled something like: art and writing of ......... house. of your best art work
anything else people can think of (yeah you guessed it more ideas pleas)

so get entering contests etc
they'll be lots of extra chances to win house points in the next couple of weeks

apparently there will soon be a groups system on deviantart, i don't think they've said exsacltly when we can use it but i have heard sometime over the summer.

the theme will be first year surgested by =maera-kyrie (detention which tied votes will be the next theme)

must be to do with the theme in some way
must contain at least one of the marauders or a marauders era character (ie snape, lily etc), but can contain anything else you so desire.
submit to the folder in the gallery called contest: first year (which i shall make in a minute) if you do not have the password please note me and i will either submit for you or give you it (~marauderforever)
all entries must be in by deadline will be set when we have some enterys
you may enter as many times as you like but you can only be 1st 2nd 3rd once (so you can't be both 1st and 3rd for example)
no mature content

ok so 1st year and detention tied with 3.5 votes each so what do you all want to do we could have: you can choose either theme(or combine them), or we could do one then the other for the next contest, or any other way you can think of

ok so you may have seen the last journal, we have four ideas for the next theme which are:
